Our Purpose
To know Christ: not just ‘head knowledge’ but the experience of following Jesus and feeling his love in all of life. Knowing Christ is our purpose in life.
Make him known: since this is the best way to live, we want to share that with others also.

MINISTER
David is married to Joanne and they have 3 sons. David moved to Emerald in 2025 after serving as an Anglican minister for 15 years in Armidale diocese. David’s passion is to share the awesome goodness of knowing and following Jesus with others. David loves Emerald, music, running, and exploring the bush with Joanne.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We hold to the orthodox, protestant faith in the Anglican tradition. A helpful summary is these 5 core ‘alone’ statements:

The Bible alone is the authority and foundation of our faith and life.

Christ alone achieves our salvation from sin and death. No-one comes to God apart from Him.

Faith alone makes Christ’s salvation effective for us. We cannot do anything to earn salvation.

Grace alone, which is God’s undeserved love, brings us to God, not our own good deeds.

Glory to God alone reminds us God is the centre of the universe, not ourselves!
